Municipality of Amersfoort
Where is the building file of your house in Amersfoort?
Which archive holds the file depends on the year the permit was granted. Below is where to be for each period, with the date on which I checked it.
This covers Amersfoort, Hoogland and Hooglanderveen as well.

The counters in Amersfoort
Amersfoort has one boundary, October 2010, and an obliging archive before it. Archief Eemland supplies digitally and free of charge, usually in about five working days.

Archief Eemland
Requests go by email to archiefeemland@amersfoort.nl. Give the street and house number, and say explicitly what you are after: floor plans, structural drawings, the structural calculation, the original construction or the last permitted state. Processing takes about five working days and it costs nothing, digital copies included; a charge only applies to a file that has not been digitised and runs to more than five scans. The archive delivers a complete set per permit number. Files from 1979 to 2010 were scanned and the paper destroyed, so those are digital by definition.
As I noted it in Dutch, with the links and the exact terms you will need on their website:
I can request this file for you.

From October 2010 the permits department of the municipality handles it, through an information request to info@amersfoort.nl.

Worth knowing
As I noted it in Dutch, with the links and the exact terms you will need on their website:
I checked these details on 18 August 2026. Counters and period boundaries change; if something no longer holds, please tell me.

Rather not do this yourself
I put together the file for your address
For € 145 including VAT I collect the building file and everything else known about your address that can matter structurally: the cone penetration tests nearby, the soil profile, the foundation picture of the neighbourhood, the plot details and the aerial photographs year by year. With it you get a reader's guide in English that says what is there and what is missing. For € 295 I also map the load-bearing structure of the house: the walls that carry load on each floor, the roof, the foundation and what keeps it stable. Only after what the public records say, without the archive? Then there is the address report for € 95.
Have me do the structural calculation afterwards and this amount comes off it. If the archive holds nothing, you get your money back.
